The Petzl Pro Traxion  has just been made better. This Progress-capture pulley now has a swivel making it easier to orient no matter what your system or load.

The Petzl Pro Traxion is designed to allow rope installation while the pulley is connected to the anchor. With its large diameter sheave and great efficiency, it is particularly appropriate for hauling heavy loads. The lower connection point can be used to create different types of hauling systems.

The big brother to the Petzl Micro Traxion, the super versatile Pro Traxion can be used as simple pulley by locking the cam in the raised position, other features include:

  • It is a loss-resistant pulley which allows a rope to be installed when the pulley is connected to the anchor
  • It is well suited for hauling heavy loads
  • It has a  toothed cam with a self-cleaning slot which optimises performance, even on dirty ropes
  • The triple action required to open the side plate is quick and intuitive, even with gloves on
  • There is a red indication that provides a visual warning when the moving side plate is unlocked
  • It has a large, 38mm diameter, aluminium sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency
