Detailed Description

This multipurpose, lightweight carabiner from Climbing Technology is a handy general-duty connector for rope access, rigging and work at height. A large base gives plenty of room for multiple connections, and the wide, catch-free nose lets the gate clear cleanly so it does not snag on gear, harness loops or rope as you clip and unclip.

It is supplied with a captive bar to keep the connected component correctly oriented and stop it shifting onto the gate. At just 92 grams it adds little to a rack, and its 30 kN axis load gives a strong margin for everyday connections. Pair it with a triple action karabiner for the load-critical connection and an alloy double action hook where a hook shape suits.
